Add URLs from your help site, knowledge base, or product pages so the GuidMe AI can use that content when answering users in the widget.
Why add web links
- Help sites — Your support or help center pages.
- Product docs — Public documentation or feature pages.
- Blog posts — Relevant articles or how-tos.
The AI fetches and indexes the content from these URLs so it can answer using your own wording and up-to-date information.
How to add links
- Open the dashboard and select your app.
- Go to Web links (or Links).
- Add one or more URLs (e.g.
https://help.yourproduct.com/getting-started). - Save. Content is fetched and indexed for use in the widget.
What gets used
- The visible text and structure of each page are used to build context.
- The AI uses this context when answering questions in the widget for this app.
- Combined with documents, you can cover both PDFs and live web pages.
Best practices
- Use stable, public URLs that don’t require login.
- Prefer pages that are clearly written and relevant to what users will ask.
- Update or remove links if pages move or become outdated.
